Hey everyone!
So today’s post is really exciting for me to share… well it’s more so that I'm excited for it so I hope you all enojoy it. It was so much fun to style and put together! Fall fashion is actually my favorite because of how creative you can get with layering and pairing cozy fabrics. Today I’ve teamed up with Banana republic to share some ideas on how to style some of the best Fall trends. I’ll be rounding up my favorite ways to wear a floral dress for Fall, velvet pants, and classic black jeans.
Long Sleeve Floral Maxi Dress | Victoria Sam Edelman Knee High Boots | Henri Bendel Hobo Bag
One of my favorite things about Fall and Winter is wearing dresses with boots. I think it looks so chic! Sometimes it can be hard to find floral prints that work for colder months. However smaller floral designs in neutral colors seem to be the most fitting. This dress is so pretty and I can’t help but feel so feminine in it. I mean, look at the cute neck ties. I’m seriously obsessed with all the details on it!! I also love the shorter hem on this dress because it makes it so perfect to wear with tall boots (and looks great with slides too). Also, these boots are currently on sale and they are the most flattering style.
Olive Velvet Pants | Black Studded Heel Sandals | Black Ruffle Sleeve Sweater |
Velvet is one of my favorite trends for Fall. This fabric is so unique that it instantly makes an outfit interesting. I personally love how it looks paired with knits- so cozy! These high-waisted pants are actually very comfortable and stretchy. Also, the velvet is a subtle shade of olive that easily pairs with other colors.
Blue Plaid Blazer | Black Distressed Denim | Black Studded Mules | Henri Bendel Tote |
Black denim jeans are easily my most worn item during the holiday months. Black jeans are my favorite closet staple because they go with EVERYTHING. I love how they can easily be dressed up or down with a cute blouse or classic blazer, like this blue plaid option. My favorite way to wear them is with a simple tee or cozy sweater. What is great about these jeans is that they have a cute frayed cut off hem and subtle cuts around the knees. They also hold up well when you wash them- the color does not fade and the denim is very comfortable!
