Today I am teaming up with eBags to show you how to wear the perfect summer tote! Big bags have always been my personal favorite... they fit just about everything. I think it has a lot to do with my overpacking problem... I always like to be "prepared", so I take lots of things with me everywhere I go. When it comes to finding a handbag, I like to choose bags I know have enough room for me to carry all my necessities. For summer I fell in love with striped tote. The color is amazing and stripes are one of my favorite prints !

Today I wanted to share how I would wear my bag with a casual outfit. I find I get the most use of my totes when I have to go shopping or when I am traveling. (Oh also, for casual flower stops when I walk around with beautiful flowers in my bag .... haha, everyone does this right?!!) A personal peeve of mine is using plastic bags ( usually Target, or grocery stores). I hate, hate, HATE when cashiers give me a plastic bag when all I bought was a nail polish or shampoo...I feel it is such a waste to use plastic bags in those situations because I am going to throw the bag away anyways. This is when the big bag comes in. When ever I make a Target stop, I throw all my goodies in my tote and I am good to go. Functionality meets beautiful bag, check!

Summer Dress Code: White Backless Maxi Dress

It is finally, Finally Friday.... YAY!

I feel like everyone has "their" color. The one color that they feel looks the best on them. For me, that one color is white! I love how refreshing and effortless white clothing can be, especially for summer! This dress from Hope's is, by far, my favorite in my closet right now. The embroidery, the flowy fabric, and the backless silhouette...it makes my heart skip a beat. This dress also comes in lavender, black, mint and (of course) in white. I highly recommend getting this dress, the skirt has a couple layers (aka not at all transparent!) and the fabric is super soft! Bottom line, I'm obsessed- it's a great dress!

Summer Lovin' : Ripped shorts and low back top

You know what day it is?! It's Hump Day! Happy Wednesday!

To survive this summer heat, shorts are an absolute must! So, today I am teaming up with Hope's to show you one of my favorite summer looks with ripped/ distressed shorts. High waisted shorts, like these, have been on my shopping list for quite so time now. However it has been mission impossible to find some that cover my booty (most versions of these shorts are cut way to high for my liking)! However, this pair is just perfect! I can honestly say I feel 100% comfortable in these shorts (I did size up, so they would fit a little more "boyfriend"). There is something special about distressed denim that makes me feel comfortable, it's almost like wearing a second skin. It is just so darn comfy!! I also, fell in love with the back of this top, aren't the colorful details just dreamy! I wore this outfit this past Sunday, and go so many compliments on this top. Once, you see the details you definitely have to take a second look.

Lately, I have been wearing loose shorts like this non stop! They are definitely my summer wardrobe staple. They are the only thing I want to wear when it gets too hot (which is like everyday). Weather forecasts predicted that temperatures would cool down...so far I have not felt the "cool down".

All year I wait for summer because it is a "feel good" "VACAY" type of season. I love how relaxing and endless the long days can be. I also love sunny beach days and the L.A. and O.C. Country fairs (seriously, the food! #getinmytummy )! It doesn't get any better than Cali summers!! I am bias of course, but who doesn't love summers in their own home town?

Monday Must: Shop Summer Essentials

Happy Monday everyone!!

Today I am sharing a couple items topping my list for summer. I think these items are essential in a summer wardrobe!

Here is why...

Rompers // They are an "all in one outift" ! They are so effortless and chic. I also love there easy transition from day to night depending on accessories. There are so many beautiful prints out there, beautiful solid color options, and creative silhouettes.

White denim // I think this a must, MUST add to your denim collection. White is a refreshing color that is perfect for summer trends. For a relaxed look try distressed styles with lots of rips.

Gladiator Sandals // I love, love LOVE gladiator sandals. By far my favorite kind of sandal! I especially love gladiator sandals that lace up. My oldest pair of shoe is a tan lace up gladiator sandal (I've had them for over 5 years!) Year after year gladiator sandals are always "on trend". This year knee high sandals are a huge trend (I especially love this nude one)!

Colorful Clutches // There are so many cute options for clutches. They vary in pattern, color, embroidery, and shape. Creative designs are a perfect pop to any summer outfit!

Hobo Satchel // I love the versatility of a structured hobo handbag. It can easily be paired with casual outfits or dressier ones to create an effortless bohemian chic look.

Gold Accessories // These are jewelry staples that can easily be paired with other accessories. Classic shapes will match just about every other accessories you already own.

Timeless Sunglasses // When investing in sunglasses (because lets be honest, a good pair of sunnies can cost quite a bit of $$$ ), it is important to find a shape that will be wearable season after season. Aside from the classic aviator , cat eye sunglasses are also a very common style. I personally, love this style because it is a subtle "cat eye" that is quickly becoming timeless.

Statements: Neon Blouse and Colorful necklace

Lately, I have been wearing a lot of casual outfits. So today, since it's friday, I am sharing a more dressy look, by dressy I mean I am wearing heels :). It is no secret I love bright colors, so this neon blouse and statement necklace combo was a no brainer. I've had this neon top for over a year now, and is till one of my favorites. The simple silhouette is extremely versatile! I like to invest in solid color tops because I feel like I can get the most use out of them and are by far the most timeless pieces of clothing.
