A fashion trend I have seen become ever more popular is skulls, skulls on everything- top to bottom covered in skulls!

What years ago was considered an icon for punk or weird clothing, is now a trend for the chic. Skulls however, have very unique and beautiful meanings in Hispanic cultures. For example, the Spanish used skulls as symbols, which marked the entrance to a graveyard. Also, Aztec cultures had ceremonies that celebrated the modern “Day of the Dead” . Skulls have been popularized by glamour and luxury ,much credit granted to  Alexander McQueen- that first put skulls on his runways in 2009. Now most every designer from high couture to commercial fashion has something skull related to offer!
