Happy Monday everyone!

Today I am sharing a look that incorporates a few of my favorites. I have been living in this chambray shirt and cardigan...they are closet staples! I love, love, love chambray shirts. They are the most versatile to wear and I reach for them constantly. I have worn this lace-up chambray to run errands and even for a casual date night out ( chambray tops can easily be dressed up or down).

Lots of Pink and Favorite Snow Boots

Tuesday, January 17, 2017

Coat- J.Crew ( love this one in pink that I just purchased )  | Jeans- | Boots- Sorel | Sunnies- Le Spec | Bag- Henri Bendel | Sweater- Marled c/o | Scarf- old, similar here |

It's shoes day Tuesday and today I wanted to share another look with some of my favorite snow boots. This was from when we visited Big Bear...it is always so much fun to visit a place that feels completely different from home.

I've actually been wanting snow boots for a while now and I finally pulled the trigger on these. An I am completely in love. I know that it is not that practical since I live in So-Cal and I only ever see snow like twice a year. However, I know that this boot can be a closet staple and I'll get lots of use out of them for years to come.

Some of my favorite snow boots are rounded up below.

1. Hunter Boots
I love hunter boots because they work for both the rain and the snow. I have actually been crushing on this red color for a while now. For Hunter boots I think it's better to go bright in the colors. They are the perfect way to make an outfit pop.

2. Short Sorel Boots
I love how subtle this style is. The short version of the snow boot is so cute...and not as heavy as the tall snow boot.

3. Fur Trimmed Snow Boots
I adore this style! I have been crushing on this boot for a long time and finally pulled the trigger this year. The tan color is versatile and I know I'll wear this for years to come.

4. Short Waterproof Boots
I love the colors combination of these boots. The neutral tones and the cute orange color make this style girly...and for a chunky boot, I personally prefer girly styles.

So it looks like it is going to be a long winter and I am kinda excited about it... so long as it involves snow (the cold I'm not so much a fan of haha). Snow means fun stuff right...like building snowmen and snow angels.

Hope you like it, love it!

Happy Monday!!

So just before the New Year we had the chance to go up and visit Big Bear here in California. It's such a short drive and it feels like a completely new place. It had actually snowed the day prior so all the snow was fresh and powdery. Walking on soft snow is such an awesome feeling (like popping bubble wrap-weird I know).

Neutral Essentials For Winter

Sunday, January 15, 2017

*Click to SHOP

So lately I've been crushing on neutral layers. Light hues are so refreshing and feminine- especially when the weather can be so gloomy. I love a crisp clean feeling outfit that is easy to pair together. I especially love that all of these items will be perfect to transition into Spring.

1. Lace Up Sandals
I have these in black and I am loving them in this lighter color; it reminds me of a chai latte. The chunky heel on this shoe is my favorite because it is so comfortable and I love the casual vibes of a this heeled sandal.

2. Statement Earrings
I love this gold statement pair of stunners. It almost reminds me of feathers...even though it is all metal and jewels.

3. White Fringe Jeans
I adore white jeans- I think they are the ultimate closet staple. The fringe along this pair of jeans is just too cute and they would be perfect later for Spring as well.

4. Knit Sleeveless Sweater
This is a cute knit design that is great to layer with other pieces. In So-Cal the weather can be so finicky and layers are key.

5. Neutral Colored Leather Jacket
I think this is as essential as black leather jacket. This is also a classic silhouette that is a timeless piece to keep in your closet.

6. Printed Crossbody Handbag
I love the neutral print on this bag and the studded detailing. This is a bag that is currently on my wishlist and is making me very excited for Spring.

Winter Blues: Flowy Maxi Dress and Leather Jacket

Friday, January 13, 2017

Dress- Felicity & Coco | Shoes- Vince Camuto | Necklace- Gorjana | Sunnies- Le Spec | Jacket- BlankNYC | Bag- Henri Bendel | Watch- Christian Paul | Bracelets- Bourbon & Bowties

Happy Friday!! It's finally the weekend!

So it's been raining...endlessly. And, I really wish the weather would allow for more outfits like the one I am sharing today. I am not a cold weather person. I need sunshine!

Today I am sharing a look that would be great for date night or for a Winter wedding. I searched and searched for the best jacket to wear with a formal dress...or with a formal-ish dress. I kept stumbling on cute leather jackets that add edge to any dress (and don't hide the dress like other large coats). I decided on this style leather jacket because of the cut and the detailing is more feminine compared to other moto leather jackets. That being said, I thinks it's important to invest in pieces that are outfit staples... like a classic leather jacket. They come in handy and are perfect to stay warm in the Winter (at least in So-Cal cold temps).

Usually for Winter I avoid dresses because I hate being cold...I'm really a baby about cold weather. However, dressing up for a date night out, special occasion dinners or events does come up. Maxi dresses are my favorite during winter for two reasons: 1.They are long, thus warmer & 2.They transition so well for Spring.  I love this striped maxi dress that can easily be dressed up and down (and is under $50) and this flowy printed dress that is similar to this blue maxi dress.

Hope you like it, love it!

Winter layers: Blush Fur Vest and Over the Knee Boots

Thursday, January 12, 2017

Vest- SheIN c/o | Top- Loft | Boots- Sam Edelman | Bracelets- Bourbon & Bowties | Sunnies- Le Spec | Watch- Christian Paul c/o | Tote- Henri Bendel c/o |

Happy almost weekend !!

This Winter season has been a cold one...which is rare for So-Cal. And, it usually doesn't rain very much either. However, lately its been cold and rainy and it does not appear this is going to change any time soon. So today I am sharing a look that is perfect for the long winter to come.

I've been living in these boots...can you tell I'm obsessed?!  OTK boots are essential for winter, especially a good comfy pair. I also think its a good idea to invest in a good cleaning set to maintain all your boots- this is one I use (erasers are perfect for suede). I feel like black boots always attract so many scuffs and dirt shows up more- so giving them a quick spot clean can maintain them (looking great) longer. Winter weather can really take a toll on shoes- so cleaning them is essential.

I also love fur during colder months. These fur vests are the perfect way to layer and stay warm. Last year I got the same one in grey and I just had to get the blush color. Pink just makes me feel good during these gloomy months.

Hope you like it, love it!

Favorite Black Over The Knee Boots

Monday, January 9, 2017

Cardigan- Make Me Chic c/o | Top- Loft | Boots- Sam Edelman | Sunnies- Le Spec | Bracelets- Bourbon & Bowties | Watch- Christian Paul c/o

Happy Monday Everyone!!

And happy January.... this month and year still feels so brand new. It's a little strange to even say the date "2017".

So.... I've been taking some time off from blogging and Instagraming this past week. It's been so nice to disconnect for a little while and create a new plan to tackle this new year in blogging. I've been super excited for this year and I've just been planning a lot to say the least. There is something so relieving about writing things down (or typing them). It helps me de-stress...it's kinda like an "outta mind-on to paper" thing. Once I write something down I don't have to think about it. Which really does help try to be more mindful and objective with myself. Checking things off a list is so gratifying!

Today I am sharing a look that is basically has been my #ootd for the past week. I've been constantly wearing these boots..never knew how essential over the knee boots were until I finally got a pair. I can't stop wearing black shoes, especially these ones. I especially love the fact that they are flat, which makes it easier to wear these for running errands during the day. I also love that they do not break the bank. I love the fit of the Stewart Weitzman boots but they are way to pricy to justify right now. These Sam Edelman boots were one of the best Black Friday purchases I made. They also fit tight enough for my skinny legs...sometimes OTK tend to fit too slouchy (not my favorite thing). But the search is over for me, I found my favorite pair of OTK boots. Now, I just need to find these in a brown color!

Hope you like it, love it!
