Happy, happy Halloween Loves!!

I ADORE this holiday. And, it always makes me giddy and excited for the official kick off of the holiday season. So many great things to come- hello best time of the year.

This year I was determined to go to a real pumpkin patch, check! And so of course I had to snap some pics of this cute sweater I found at TJmaxx-- Eat, Drink, and be Scary! Since Halloween is on a Monday this year... this is my actual #HalloweenOotd. I will probably spend it watching movies and handing out candy. Very, very simple; yet, it is my favorite thing to do.

Have a fun and safe holiday everyone!

Hope you like it, love it!

Closet Staples: Jackets

Sunday, October 30, 2016

Happy weekend everyone.

Today I am rounding up some of my favorite jackets, and sharing why they are such great closet staples. I recently purchased this one, and I am obsessed. Let the layering begin.

So of course at the top of the list of must haves, would be a leather jacket. Investing in a good leather jacket is one of the best things because they are the ultimate classic.

Adding a printed jacket to your closet is a must, because they are a simple way to add some color to your outfit. My go to is a simple tee, with jeans, and a printed coat. Such a simple way to make an ordinary outfit pop.

I love this silhouette for a jacket! It can be paired with casual pieces or dressed up outfits. In my opinion this one is perfect to wear with nice dresses on date night! Super cute and chic!!

Love the color on this rich cognac moto jacket. This is another silhouetted and color that is a classic. Especially, to add a subtle boho vibe to any outfit.

5. Fuzzy Jacket
Love this texted moto jacket because of two reasons. The fuzzy fabric gives it a different edge and the moto design makes it classically cool.

6. Denim Jacket
This denim jacket it a MUST have in anyones closet. Well at least for me, it has been my favorite kind of jacket because of how well it goes with casual or dressy outfits. And, it is perfect all year round!

Hope you like it, love it!

Happy Thursday Loves!

Today's outfit post is super simple; yet is one of my favorites because of it. I can't get enough of striped sweater lately, they are my obsession!! I recently purchased this one, and this one (on sale)... and I know they will be on constant rotation ! I like to buy neutral colors in prints, that way they are a little more versatile when pairing with other layers. AND I since the weather is FINALLY feeling like Fall in SoCal- BRING ON THE LAYERS!! --yes I'm excited for cooler weather. I've been shopping like crazy for Fall trends and it kinda sucks when suddenly It's 90 degrees and I'm back into shorts and sandals- the struggle ya'll! lol .

So, update..... still have not been to a pumpkin patch. BUT, it is in the plans for this week- so YAY! I'm sooo excited, so make sure to follow along on my Instagram. Finding actually Fall vibes is hard in the land of palm trees. So, my sister and I are going out to the search for a cute pumpkin patch-- can't wait for this weekend!

Color Crushing: Mustard Yellow

Wednesday, October 19, 2016

Dress- Wayf (NOW ON SALE!) | Bag- Franco Sarto (via TJmaxx, similar here) | Necklaces- Ettika Jewelry (here and here)  | Watch- Christian Paul

Happy Wednesday Loves!

Today I wanted to share this cute mustard lace dress. The details on this mustard yellow dress are my favorite. The zig zag hem and the low back are just to die for! I also love that it can be dressed down, with a denim jacket to be a little more edgy- since it is paired with lace that is traditionally more girly than edgy. Also, this dress just marked down and is under $60 !

Anyhow, I am really crushing on this warmer color palette; pale yellows, rustic oranges, and burnt reds. It so much resembles the changing colors of the leaves that is not as common to find in SoCal yet- but a girl can try to get the Fall vibes with this color scheme. I have slowly been able to add some layers to my outfits in the evening- but for the most part it is still so warm! I just envy those that live in gorgeous landscapes where leaves fill the floor and the sky is adorned with changing colors of the tress. I've lived in SoCal most of my life and I always try to make a trip around this time of year to a more "Fall vibe" kind of place. I think this year I'm going to try to squeeze something in with my sister and go up to the mountains near by or something, OR at least try and find a pumpkin patch. Yes, I'll settle for a pumpkin patch with pumpkins on the floor. Soon it will be Christmas and I don't want the holiday seasons to pass me up.

Do ya'll have any recommendations for places in SoCal to visit during the Fall? I'll be looking for some pumpkin patches this weekend and I'll ya'll know how it goes.

Hope you like it, love it !
