  I don't know about you, but I'm ready for Spring. I've busted out the white skinnies and I feel like a new person. (Ok, maybe that's pushing it, but I love the warmer temps!) Also, a shoe I'm heavy crushing on are mules... they are the perfect way to tip toe into spring. It's like sandal meets boot. Yes!

Happy Valentine's Day !!!
 It's the day to celebrate love and those you love most! So fair warming I'm sharing some slight P.D.A. today.

So let's get started... 

 If there is one person I appreciate- it's this guy, making a special appearance today. He's been my Valentine for the past six years!! Anddd today he's making a special appearance to help me share some truly original watches.

I have to be honest, when I first heard of wood watches- I immediately thought of Clint. He loves nature, and outdoor-sy stuff. So these watches, that are made of unique woods, seamed like such a great gift for him. For myself, I choose the purpleheart wood for my watch because, "how cute is this natural purple color"!? I love that each watch is made of unique wood and each has their own personality.

Happy Friday!!!   

 

 

 Today I am in full Valentine's day mood... bring on the cheesy Vday stuff ! My favorite is all the treats:  chocolate, champagne, and flowers!! Even though I will admit the "holiday" is super commercialized, I do appreciate the gesture of celebrating LOVE.

My fondest memory of Valentines day is when I was in Kindergarten. Does everyone remember exchanging Valentines Cards to classmates?

Well, I always make my own cards to give AND this dates back to this year. In which, I had the grand idea to make all my classmates handmade, crafty, DIY cards and envelopes in colored paper. But, the day of, everyone busted out their store bought, laminated, cartoon character, cards. I felt so out of place! Side note: when I was little...I was outrageously shy. Which made it hard for me to hand out my cards, even more so realizing no one made them by hand. So I sat in my chair pretending I didn't bring any. Until my teacher came to me and made me spill the truth. She held my hand as we both handed out my cards to my classmates. (which consisted of placing them in everyones cubbies) At the end of the day all the kids thought it was so cool I made them and appreciated the gesture so much. (More so in shock I made them by hand, because many kindergarteners can't even cut in a straight line.)


Anyhow, now that I'm older handing out cards to a class full of peers is not as common. But I do still make my cards, and hand them out to the special people in my life.
