Simply a Romper

Today I am sharing an outfit I wore to my birthday dinner. Like I mentioned on my previous post my birthday was on a monday and I wanted to find outfits that were casual yet "fun" . I found this all black romper last minute and thought it was perfect ! Black itself is very chic. This simple romper was easily dressed up with pops of silver ( shoes and necklace). I will definitely be wearing this romper often. It can be dressed down with sandals and a jean jacket OR worn alone with a messy pony with comfy flats ...possibilities are endless really.

So if you follow along on Instagram you will know it was my birthday!! The big 2-2 ! Today I wanted to share some of the pictures of my Birthday outfit. At first I was really stumped because my birthday was on a Monday. I wanted to find an outfit that said "it's my f**k'in birthday!" while still being appropriate for a casual family brunch. So here is what I came up with....

When I was younger I was obsessed with camo / "army print" . I was a little bit of a tom boy and I thought it made me look hard core ( lol ) . Now, that I have developed my own sense of style I try to step out side my own comfort zone to try out new things ( or try old trends ). Today, I am sharing how I wore my camo skinny jeans. I will admit I felt pretty cool walking around in these jeans ! They are actually quit versatile and are easily paired with any pop of color. I can't wait to wear these again in a glam way!

Whoot Whoot for a New Year

First and foremost I think I should say "Happy New Year"! Since this is my first post of the year I felt Happy New Year was only fitting (even though it is 21 days late lol ). I've delayed this post and a lot of things these past few weeks. I think its like a new years block (like writers block) . I have so many ideas , plans, and goals for this new year. It all becomes overwhelming very quickly, but then it all turns into excitement. May this new years be wonderful, fun, and full of adventure. CHEERS 2014!
