A Little Sparkle

This post includes a few of my favorite things! If you follow on Instagram you will know I constantly wear these bangles and booties. They are my everyday go to accessories! A new favorite of mine is this tortoise necklace. It adds just enough sparkle to any outfit ! The most beautiful thing about this necklace is where it comes from. Benevolent Jewels is an amazingly stylish and generous online boutique. Michelle (the founder), is truly an inspiration. Her amazing heart is what has made this company so sucessful. I mean , what business nowadays will share their profits to help others? Aside from their inspiring mission to help non-profits, they offer stylish jewelry and accessories ( not to mention at very reasonable prices!) . Lumberjack Plaid

Happy Friday Everyone!

I can't believe the year is coming to a close ...I can't believe 2014 is finally here ! I mean, here in California the weather still remains pretty warm ( and it's winter??) I hope everyone got to spend Christmas ( or what ever holiday you celebrate) with those you love! I am very grateful this year for the amazingly wonderful people in my life ( my family, my boyfriend and my friends ). I can't wait for all that 2014 has in store. eek !

During the summer I was crushing on crop tops with high waisted skirts... sooo this Winter season I am crushing on crop sweaters ! (big surprise right!? ) I found this entire outfit (top and skirt) at TJMaxx for about $30 bucks ! I like to think I am a great shopper :) #Maxxinista #thegifter

A New Meaning to Blue

One of my all time favorite colors is cobalt blue- It's such a upbeat color! It brings a whole new meaning to the saying 'feeling blue'. The other day I decided to check out some of the new collections at JCPenny. It is not a store I usually shop at, but I some how I wandered in and found this fab top! JCPenny has the cutest I 'Heart' Ronson pieces (seriously can't wait for the next collection). I fell in love with the mix of floral and gingham , just enough edge and girly all in one!

This Crazy Town

This past month has been extremely hectic for me. I mean the holidays are a crazy time! Life seems to run on fast ward these months and by the time you realize Christmas is in a week! I just started doing some Christmas shopping this week and felt completely overwhelmed as soon as I stepped in a store. There are so many people out right now trying to snag a great gift- and with the countdown to christmas wearing thin, so are emotions sometimes. This year, it really does not feel like Christmas to me- this holiday really snuck up on me! However, I am excited for the actually day to arrive. I can't wait for that amazing cup of hot chocolate, made with love from my boyfriend (with exactly 5 marshmallows on top). I can't wait to watch others tear the christmas wrapping on the gifts I picked out for them (and to tear some wrapping myself ) . I can't wait for Christmas because it is the one day of the year that everything seems to be perfect- everyone has the day off, hangs out to eat, and to watch movies.

Hope your week leading up to holidays is filled with shopping cheer! Hope everyone finds the perfect gift to give! And finds time to spend with the people that matter most!

Simply Black and White

The easiest thing to wear is black and white-especially in the Fall and cooler months. It is the easiest to pair together and it creates and effortless , classic look . Lately, I've been gravitating towards this color combo because it's a simple no brainer- black goes with white, Always !

Fa La La Leather

One of my favorite fall trends is leather ! It's one of those things that instantly makes me feel a bit "cooler" -like cool kid on the block cool. Like I've mentioned before - a little leather goes a long way. I really love wearing leather because it's one of those fabrics that reminds me of the Fall season . It's like the smell of pumpkin spice or pine needles . They all signal the nearing of the Holidays ! First I'll bust out the leather , then the sequins , and finally the plaid. All of these fabrics scream 'Holiday Season'. Only a couple weeks until Thanksgiving , then Christmas , then New Years !...and my Birthday! I'm so excited for the next couple months- let the fa la la la la Holiday season begin !
